My Letter To You.
Although we’ve known each other for quite some time but it wasn’t until Friday, Dec 2, 2011 we had our first date.
Because I lack sense of time, I sincerely apologize for being over 30 minutes late.
Thinking you would be upset at me for not being on time.
When I arrived there you were waiting patiently looking stunning, eloquent and prime.
As I opened up the car door and watched you get inside.
My heart was racing a 100 mph, but the cool in me managed to keep my nervous composure all in stride.
I was impressed by the way you carried yourself with self respect and deep conversation.
Your witty humor and kool-aid smile made me feel like I was on a heavenly vacation.
As the night went on watching your face in the glow of candlelight.
I knew that night you were heaven sent and were destined to be my wife.
Funny how God works in mysterious ways thinking he had my treasure somewhere else but
There you were all this time just like a china dish sitting high on my top shelf.
So now the time has come that Andrea Regina Davis is about to be my wife.
I Sean Anthony Johnson will promise to always love, cherish and protect you for the rest of my life.
I also promise to never physically, mentally or verbally abuse you
As I get down on one knee to assure you that my promise will be forever so true.
I’m fully aware that we’re going to have our sunny days and our stormy weather but
Let’s promise each other we’ll always keep the line of communication open by praying and staying together.
And don’t think for one second that Satin won’t try to come in and do his job for that he hates this union.
Ohhh but I rebuke you Satin in the name of Jesus for God has blessed and ordained this union so go back to hell with your tricks and illusions.
Andrea, you are so beautiful and an amazing person who I will love till the very end.
Not only are you my lover. my companion, my confidant but most importantly you’re my friend.
So when you’re happy…know that I’m your friend.
When your feeling sad or even mad…know that I’m STILL your friend.
When you’re feeling down, discouraged, depressed and feel like no one cares…I do because I’m your friend.
Even if we have to agree to disagree then that’s ok with me ..why? because you’re my friend.
I don’t expect you to be perfect. I don’t expect you to wait on me hand and foot.
All I ask is that you be faithful and true for this must be love because I’m not even asking you to cook.
My love for you is deeper than happiness because I’m well aware that happiness is just an emotion.
My love for you is totally unconditional that comes from deep within my heart with sincere devotion.
So when you laugh…I laugh.
When you cry….I cry
When you hurt…I hurt
And when you die…I die
There’s so many ways that I want to show my love for you endlessly
Some will climb the highest mountain, some will swim the deepest sea but
On the cool since I’m a realist, I’m not so sure I can make that a reality
But what I know I can DO and certainly can BE…is a loyal & faithful husband.
A provider and a great family man who’s always there.
Loving you means I won’t mind washing your underwear
And when you get old and gray I won’t mind pushing your wheel chair.
The reason I can say all of this so clearly and with so much sincerity
Because If the shoe was on the other foot. I know you would do the exact same for me.
So as I bring this letter to a close know that everything I say is true and comes straight my heart.
I thank God every day for bringing us together and pray that we will never depart.
I’m so happy, grateful & proud to be able to call you my wife…my one and ONLY lady
And I can’t wait until the day that Andrea Regina Johnson will soon have my baby.
I Love you Andrea 🙂
