The theme for the program was “Committed to an Unfaltering Faith”

The Scripture:

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

The Mistress of ceremony for the program was Sister Junell Anderson. Selections were rendered by the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church Mission choir. The welcome was presented by Sister Rosie Powell of Greater Mount Olive followed by the response from Sister Clendell Mallory of the Community of Grace United Methodist Church.

Sister Genell Dunlap of New Covenant Missionary Baptist church introduced the speaker, Sister Shurlie Horn also from New Covenant. Sister Horn used the program theme Committed to an Unfaltering Faith for her topic as she presented four points of achieving faith through Worship, Walk, Work, and Faith.

President of the North Amarillo Presidents’ Council, Sister Elizabeth Randle of Johnson Chapel AME Church introduced the members of the Council. Sister Alice Agu of St. John Baptist Church spoke on behalf of the council.

The closing remarks and words of appreciation were given by Sister Margret Mack, President of the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church Missionary and by Reverend Vurn Martin, Pastor of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church.
