The unexamined life is not worth living.–Socrates
This Thanksgiving, as with all others Thanksgivings, is a time of personal reflections on the “road travelled.” When I look back on the many “forks in the road” I have travelled it is a miracle that I am still alive. I can personally look back on incidents and circumstances when I should have breathed my last breath. But, I’m still here. I’m still here to give thanks to a Living God who has brought me through this, and brought me through that. One of my favorite gospel songs is one with this very title—“You Brought Me Through This.” Happy Thanksgiving!
